Everyone is familiar with the controls of the Playstation and Xbox, but as their respective sequences of the eighth generation have not seen the two side by side controls. Now, in the picture above, it is possible to make a comparison in a more qualified.

Dualshock 4

Following the evolution of the first control Sony's DualShock 4 format has not changed much, keeping its ergonomics. The novelty is that it presents a small touch-sensitive area (touchpad) that lets you interact in other ways with the games. The gamer can also click in this area, which serves as a button.

There is an entrance at the bottom of the control, which allows you to connect headphones or headsets, allowing the sound of games and chat online matches.

A sensor on top of the joystick allows games to use as motion control, similar to the PlayStation Move. There will be a special bar to capture the movements of the control, and also identify the players, allowing thus offer personalized content to each gamer.

Xbox One controller 

The joystick preserves traditional buttons, but the button "Guide" was moved to the top of the accessory. The new game will also be accompanied by the new version of the Kinect accessory that captures the movements of players and eliminates the use of the controller itself in certain games.

The new Xbox control follows the ergonomic lines of its predecessor, the Xbox 360, praised the easy adaptation to large and small hands. He will have input for headphones and not have wireless. Still uses two AA batteries, whose magazine was changed to the horizontal position.

According to Microsoft, the Xbox One control comes with more precise analog sticks and push buttons (L and R) more responsive to commands from the players. The old buttons "Start" and "Back" were also refurbished: one designed with three horizontal lines and the other displaying two overlapping screens.

The company has not yet confirmed whether the names "Start" and "Select" will remain even if the traditional functions.
